Last week I went on a cruise around the Mediterranean sea where we made one stop in Egypt! I think it was one of the most impressive places I've ever been to until now, because I really got to see how different their lifestyle is and how they deal with their poverty etc... Here are some pictures to give you a bit of an impression!

Good morning/afternoon/evening or whatever;) 
At the weekend I had the chance to try out something that I only knew from movies! I don't know the name of it but it was a huge water boiler and something like a small springboard on top of it, next to it was a target and if you hit it, the person who is sitting on the board falls in the boiler:D It was so fun! I thought they would never hit the small target but they did, so I 
had to say goodbye dryness, hello cold water:D

On my second weekend in miami we went to orlando. We went to the universal studios and to the island of adventure. It was amazing and I realy enjoyed it! I took a few pictures for you that you also have a little bit of vacation:D

Sorry that we haven't wrote anything for such a long time! But we were just too busy. It's not that we're not busy anymore but we want to share our live with you;) and that's why we are going to write more again. A few of you already now that I'm doing a exchange year in Miami. I have been living in Miami for one month now. My new high school is absolutely amazing and the students are nice. 

A few pictures of my first football game. It really was like in a movie. All the people from your school are coming and celebrate there team. (but after the game you have a hearing loss)

Unfortunately summer is slowly coming to an end here. The last few days it has been raining all day and it's freezing outside... Soon we're gonna have to get out all the warm jackets and scarfs again:( But I hope till then we can still enjoy a couple of last warm days...

Yesterday we decided to go to the park because the weather was really warm and sunny here for once, after a couple of rainy days.. and we could finally wear our summerdresses;) Here's another ootd:)

So we're finally back again and we're really sorry that we've been gone for so long! We just enjoyed our vacation for a couple of weeks in asia and in the south of france ( we will also show some pictures of our trips soon), but now we're excited to be back and we're going to start off with an ootd:) and there will be lots more of those to come soon!

Once I saw these beautiful photos in Vogue and I wished I could be thirty and could get married too! I love the wedding dresses and the gorgeous cake! The dresses looks so beautiful and the wedding cakes are always so delicious;) And don't forget the great wedding parties:D

I think If I would marry in the next few days, I would definitely wear  this dress:

It's a dress from Gucci and I know it's not a normal wedding dress, but I really like the colors and the cut. It's just different and absolutly stunning!

Soon it's summer vacation here in Switzerland and I am delighted! I'm really looking forward to it because I'm going to China:) First stop is in Shanghai, then were are going to Xian and at the end of the trip were are going to Peking. I'm so excited! If any of you have ever been or live there, please let me know if there are any nice spots for shopping, eating and stuff like that. Thank you!:D If I can, I will upload a few photos from my China trip every day!

Recently this is my favorite lunch, because it's so delicious and really easy to do! everything you need is: 

- bread

- one egg (to make a fried egg)

- arugula salad

- chives and pepper to put on top of the fried egg

This summer I really like wearing neon nailpolishes. Because it's such an easy way to add a little bit of color to your outfits. My absolute favourite neon colors are yellow and a bright orange. And it's really pretty if you are wearing a neon coral nailpolish together with blue or mint accessorizes.

Jumpsuits are so comfortable! And that's the reason why it's definitely one of the summertrends for 2012. You only need one piece and you are ready to leave the house. If you want to add a bit of a pop to your jumpsuit, wear it with a big necklace (which leads us to our next trend;))

Big necklaces are great to pimp up your outfits. If you are only wearing a normal t-shirt, you can add a big necklace and it will look a lot more stylish. Is there an easier way to make your outfit look more exciting and special than it actually is? I don't think so;)

Hats are stylish and useful, because they protect you from the sun and they also add a bit of personality to your outfit. I really like the small hats made of straw and the big ones made of felt. And I love a big hat in combination with a maxiskirt;)

One more great trend is colorful hair. This summer it's really popular, either as dip dye hair, ombre, or just fully colored! It makes you stand out and looks fresh and fun!

Charles and Ray Eames were american designers. They made modern architecture and furniture. They also worked in the fields of industrial and graphic design, fine art and film. The Eameses pioneered technologies, such as the fiberglass and plastic resin chairs and the wire mesh chairs. While working, Charles took over the more technical part and Ray took over the more artistic part. I love their chairs and that’s why I want to show you some now ;)

I love this chair! I think it’s my absolute favorite chair at the moment and I’m thinking about buying one. When I was in Berlin, we went to and interior design shop and this chair stood in the rear corner. It was love at first sight! The chair was so comfortable that I just didn't want to get up...

Charles Eames Lounge Chair

The lounge chair just looks so classy and nice to me, it's a perfect mix between wood and leather. And when I got to try it out at a furniture museum I found out it's one of most confertable chairs ever as well;) No wonder it's their most famous piece and everybody seems to love it;)

Olivia Palermo! If you don't know who she is: Shame on you! Olivia Palermo is one of the most stylish women on earth! All of her looks are just perfekt! Even if she only goes for a walk, she's perfectly styled, there's no situation in which she doesn't look great;)
